About the performance:

The duet deals with the provocation and the vulnerability of the coming together of two individuals.

This story, inspired by fairy-tales, is situated out of the time. It is constructed on the meeting of two personages, almost strangers. Their relation playful and savage evolves in a surreal, but absolutely serious way. The evident things do not stay for long time. The atmosphere is reminiscent to the villages of the East of Europe, where one can smell melancholia and morbidity. The inner violence, obsession, animality, wildness and restraint were worked on in a pure physical way, which creates a dance funny and tragic at the same time.

About the authors:

Leja Jurišić is involved in contemporary dance since 2000. From 2006, she has been working as a dancer with Meg Stuart and Damaged goods. She collaborated with the following Slovene choreographers: Matej Kejžar, Branko Potočan, Mala Kline, Maja Delak, Gregor Luštek, Janez Janša. In 2007, she established her own production house for contemporary dance – KINK.
As a choreographer, she started to work in 2005. The red line of her work is investigation of emotional states and characters through the domains of functional anatomy and stage improvisation./p>

Sybille Muller (Berlin) is a dancer and choreographer. She studied dance at the Rotterdamse Dansakademie in Holland. During her studies of communication sciences, she started to connect her media theoretic interests with choreographic ones. She is creating her own works (42 Umdrehungen/Unstable with Floria Bach) and has performed with deuffert&plischke and Isabelle Schad.
